This is our Fred, born to gentle Greyling along with Sylvio, Baby, Grace and Zorro. Fred was happy to find a home with the sweet white Feather and there is a big album of photographs of these two whiskery ones. We always knew that gentle Feather is special but Fred has shown us how special a cat can be!!!!He's famous now, is Our Fred and he's won Our Clan a most fascinating book which apparently is all about cats and some people who get bossed around by cats, well so they say....
Many people asked how much Yoga had Fred practiced to gain the Noted Prize of Tom Cox's book Under The Paw, a book which is spelled out in Tom's Blog, The Little Cat Diaries!
Now we can reveal that it wasn't so much Yoga which Fred was performing in the notably witless posture which was caught by the camera. It was simple pleasure.
When Fred had lived with Our Clan, he was a shy boy who hung around at the edge of things and rarely even asked for a pat or any special conversation.
So he was pleased and surprised to find himself to be a Special Cat at home with Marah and David. Marah had a dream where Fred arrived looking like a shy kid especially to say Thank You and how very happy he is to be Fred in a New Big Place.
This is Our Fred in the Photo which won for himself and Feather a wonderful Catnip Toy.And for the two legged kinds of Us all about, we got a copy of Tom's beautiful book.
There were some people who asked how Fred managed to undulate himself to the extent that he did for the photograph.
Fred isn't a head butter, he's a head rubber who just loves to have his little head rubbed and sometimes if he's in a VERY good mood, he'll just rub his own head if he's pleased to see you. The Photograph simply caught him rubbing his little black and white head on the step.
Fred was just a little bit overcome by his sudden fame, so much so that he ran onto next door's roof and cried a bit. He didn't come down until the neighbours climbed up to check to see who could be making so much noise, so then he ran across to his home roof and back yard and then he hid for awhile.
